Steven Clapp of the University of Central Florida informed HFES that he has successfully defended his dissertation, "A Holistic Work System Approach to Creating Flow During Transactional Work" on March 31, 2023, and earned his PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida.  Congratulations, Steven!   After 30 years as a process design and business performance consultant and six years as an adjunct/visiting professor of operations management an operations research, he looks forward to transitioning to a role as a full-time researcher and/or professor.
