Eligibility
Individuals who complete a full Symposium registration* between January 27 and February 20 will be entered into a drawing.
Already registered?
All individuals who registered for the Symposium before January 27, 2026, are automatically entered into the drawing and remain eligible for all applicable prizes. No additional action is required.
*Workshop-only registrations and Robotics Summit only registrations do not qualify unless paired with a full Symposium registration.

Do I need to register for the Symposium to be eligible?
Yes. You must complete a paid full Symposium registration during the Race to Registration window to be eligible for any prize.
Do I need a hotel reservation to be eligible for the hotel upgrade prize?
Yes. To be eligible for a hotel upgrade, you must have a paid reservation at the New York Hilton Midtown. The hotel upgrade prize is a complimentary upgrade to a Skyline Room with Executive Lounge access for every night of your paid stay at the New York Hilton Midtown.
Do I need a hotel reservation to be eligible for the workshop registration prize?
No. A hotel reservation is not required to be eligible for the workshop registration prize.
If I register now but book the hotel later, can I still be eligible for the upgrade?
Yes. If you have a paid New York Hilton Midtown reservation on file by the drawing date for the hotel upgrade prize. (HFES will confirm eligibility before awarding the upgrade.)
How will winners be selected?
Winners will be randomly selected from eligible registrants.
When will I find out if I won?
Winners will be contacted by email shortly after each drawing date.
What if I win the hotel upgrade but don’t have a qualifying hotel reservation?
If a selected winner does not have a paid New York Hilton Midtown reservation on file by the drawing date, HFES will select an alternate winner.
Can someone win the hotel upgrade more than once?
No. Past winners are not eligible to win again. Each participant may only be awarded the hotel upgrade once.
