Contributing-Supporting Membership

During the membership application or renewal process, all members have the opportunity to support HFES above the level of Regular membership through Contributing or Supporting Membership. At the Contributing level, members voluntarily increase their Regular dues by 50%, and Supporting members increase their dues by 100%.

Sustaining Membership

Any person, corporation, or organization can become a Sustaining Member, the highest level of support to HFES. Benefits of Sustaining Membership vary with the level of support, but all levels are recognized on the HFES Web site and in printed materials at Society conferences.

Corporate Sustaining Membership contributions are applied to:

  • Raise the visibility and understanding of the HF/E field and profession among federal, state, and local decision makers and legislators

  • Promote the Society as an authoritative voice and resource for making evidence-based policy decisions

  • Advance the career path of early-career professionals through mentor-mentee programs

  • Support students as they advance into the HF/E field through grants and awards

  • Promote the evaluation and exchange of HF/E information among researchers, educators, and practitioners

You can apply for individual Contributing, Supporting, or Sustaining Membership online! Or download the Corporate Sustaining Membership application form and return it to HFES.
