Standard Posters
Those presenting a standard poster should review the Poster Dimensions and Logistics information linked below. Standard posters may be set up in the International Ballroom Center between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 24. Authors of odd-numbered posters should attend their poster from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM on Wednesday during the Poster Reception. Authors of even-numbered posters should attend their poster between 6:15 PM and 7:00 PM.
Poster numbers and the session during which you are presenting will appear in the mobile app and the on-site program guide (PDF).
Poster Dimensions and Logistics
University Lab Posters
Set up for the University Lab Posters will take place on Wednesday, October 25th between 11:00 AM - 4:30 PM in the International Terrace. No posters may be affixed to boards after 4:30 PM. Posters may be removed beginning at 7:00 PM on October 25 but can remain on display through Thursday, October 26 until 5:00 PM. Any posters remaining after that time will be discarded.
University Lab Poster dimensions are the same as that for general posters. Please review the Poster Dimensions link above.
Posters with Fellows
Posters may be set up on Wednesday, October 25 between 11:00 AM and 4:30 PM in the International Ballroom Center. Please affix your poster to the available poster board of your choice, there are no assigned boards. Push pins will be provided.
Please attend your poster on Wednesday, October 25 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM in the International Ballroom Center to answer questions and interact with meeting attendees. Poster board dimensions (for Posters with Fellows only) are 4 feet high x 8 feet wide. You may use the entire side (there will be one poster on each side of each board). Posters can be removed on Wednesday, October 25 after 7:00 PM. HFES welcomes Fellows to leave their posters on display until Thursday, 10/26 at 5:00 PM.
For All Poster Presenters
- Ensure your poster meets our accessibility standards
- No A/V equipment, storage, or furniture will be available for poster stations (exceptions made for attendees who request a chair)
- Please be prepared to store your poster tube in your room if you plan to save your poster
- HFES is not responsible for loss or damage to poster tubes or personal items left under the poster
Poster Printing Service
HFES has arranged with FedEx Office located inside the Washington Hilton Hotel to offer a special discount on the production of HFES Annual Meeting posters. Discounted prices will be available via this docstore until 9:00 AM on Thursday, October 19. The price is $98.00 + tax for a 42” x 42” one-sided poster.
