Why You Should Attend the HFES 67th Annual Meeting

Education

Education is one of the primary reasons why attendees flock to the International Annual Meeting each year. With content tailored to the interests of HFES' 26 diverse technical groups, you'll have the chance to learn about the most innovative research and trends affecting HF/E today. From interactive workshops led by subject matter experts to deep dive sessions on pressing topics in the field, this meeting is your chance to stay ahead of the curve. HFES’s annual meeting is where you can present your research and hear the latest insights impact our field.

Continuance of Certification

Continuance of Certification (CoC), sometimes referred to as recertification or certification maintenance, is a service that helps professionals remain current in their professional practice. The Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics (BCPE) CoC program offers a systematic approach for assessing continued professional development and practice in the human factors/ ergonomics/ user experience (HF/E/UX) profession. If you hold a certification credential from BCPE, attending and/or presenting at the HFES Annual Meeting qualifies for points you may use for certification maintenance!

  • If you attend a paid workshop, you may claim 0.5 points for each training hour
  • If you attend or deliver an unpublished presentation at the HFES Annual Meeting you may earn up to two points

If you have any questions, please contact BCPE at bcpehq@bcpe.org
