The HFES Job Fair at ASPIRE, the HFES International Annual Meeting, will provide a forum for employers to find talent and for job seekers to discover potential roles for the next phase in their careers. The Job Fair can help facilitate connections and provides helpful career-related information and resources to both employers and job seekers.
The Job Fair offers access to a large network of highly qualified HF/E professionals. More than 40% of HFES members hold a doctorate, 33% hold a master's degree, and about 15% hold a bachelor's degree.

If you are a job seeker, you can search through hundreds of opportunities within our industry and members are able to apply.
Prior to attending the Job Fair in Chicago, be sure to review the online Job Board to apply for open positions of those companies who will be participating. You can apply by submitting your resume online. If a company is interested, they may contact you to arrange a formal interview during the Job Fair. All ASPIRE attendees looking for employment opportunities are encouraged to attend the Job Fair, don’t forget to bring copies of your resumes!
For Employers:
The HFES Job Fair is available to any organization seeking talent and all employers are invited to reserve booths or tables.
- To register for the Job Fair, please complete the registration form. The form will allow you to select either booth or table, view the floorplan and provide set-up information for your company's participation in the Job Fair.
- New Offer: Exhibitor Marketing and Recruiting Package-- $4,200: This comprehensive package includes a 60-day job posting on the HFES Job Board (valued at $499), a tabletop exhibit space in the ASPIRE exhibit hall, and access to semi-private Interview Booths at the HFES Job Fair for onsite interviews. It’s designed to help employers maximize visibility, streamline recruiting, and connect directly with top candidates in the human factors and ergonomics field. - After registering, participating organizations are required to have at least one current job posting on the HFES Job Board. Employers are required to post job openings on the online Job Board by September 15 to allow candidates sufficient time to browse available positions. This will also enable employers to review resumes and arrange meetings with potential candidates. Scheduling formal or informal interviews during ASPIRE is the sole responsibility of the employer. Once your job posting is active online, you'll receive resumes from interested candidates whom you can then contact to schedule discussions onsite.
- IMPORTANT: Please mention in your online job posting that your company will be participating in the Job Fair at ASPIRE in Chicago, so you can schedule onsite interviews with potential candidates.
HFES Job Board:
Participating companies are required to purchase one of the following packages to post to the HFES Job Board:
- Job Flash Package --$399: This package features a 30-day online job posting, emailed directly to thousands of Human Factors and Ergonomics professionals.
- Premium Job Flash Package-- $499: This package features a 30-day online job posting, emailed directly to thousands of Human Factors and Ergonomics professionals. Your listing will be prominently displayed in search results and visually highlighted to ensure it stands out from competing opportunities.
- Ultimate Recruitment Package-- $699: This package includes a 30-day online job posting, featured prominently to attract top talent. Your listing will be emailed to thousands of Human Factors and Ergonomics professionals and distributed across leading job boards and search engines. To maximize visibility, your post will be prioritized in search results and highlighted to stand out from the competition.
Job Fair Fees:
- Booth: $500 + the cost of one online, 30-day job posting
- These spaces are 8’ x 10’ with 8’ pipe and drape separation from neighbors. They are semi-private but not soundproof spaces. Each space includes a sign with the company name, a table, and two chairs. The fee includes the display of your job listing on the on-site bulletin board during the Job Fair. - Table: $250 + the cost of one online, 30-day job posting
- These are great spaces to display your company literature and to have informal discussions with job seekers. The fee includes the display of your job listing on the on-site bulletin board during the Job Fair. - On-Site Bulletin Board Job Posting and Resume Collection:
(For companies not participating via booth or table)
- One online job posting is required and should be posted to the HFES Job Board by September 15, 2025. Please visit HFES Job Board for pricing options.
- Please bring or send us your job posting and we will post it for you on the on-site bulletin board at the Job Fair (limited to one single, single-sided 8½” x 11” sheet of paper).
- HFES staff will collect paper resumes from candidates interested in employment with your organization. If your organization is onsite, we will deliver resumes to your exhibit table by the close of the meeting.

Job Fair Registration
Each participating company will receive two complimentary badges for attending personnel. The limit for each space is no more than two personnel at any one time given the size of the Job Fair. Please note, Job Fair badge holders who are not registered for ASPIRE will not have access to the rest of the conference, only the Job Fair space. Please see Job Fair hours and dates listed above or on the program outline.
Rules:
- No standing banners or other displays may be erected outside of your purchased space.
- No displays will be permitted to be set up outside of the Job Fair room.
- No materials may be affixed to walls or other hotel property.
HFES is not liable for any property or materials in the Job Fair.
