Year Published:1997

The HFES Forensics Professional Group conducted two mock trial sessions at the 1997 HFES Annual Meeting. Chaired by Alison G. Vredenburgh, both sessions included commentary by Richard J. Hornick and H. Harvey Cohen. These mock trials are a must for those involved in forensics, safety, warnings, and accident prevention. Students will also find them useful.

Case 2: Adequacy of Warning Systems to Address Product Hazards concerns the effectiveness of the warning on a table saw. The expert "testified" on behalf of the defendant. 62 minutes
