BOHSI Releases "Strategies for Integrating AI into State and Local Government Decision Making"

The Board on Human-Systems Integration (BOHSI), is a standing board of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.  BOHSI advances human factors and human-centered design to enhance individual and organizational performance. Through interdisciplinary research, BOHSI examines issues at the intersection of people, technology, and work.

BOHSI has a new Rapid Expert Consultation (REC) publication that is a collaboration between DBASSE’s Societal Experts Action Network (SEAN) and BOHSI, entitled “Strategies for Integrating AI into State and Local Government Decision Making”. This is part of a larger series of activities focused on AI and state/local leaders.  The topic has garnered  interest from both the AI perspective as well as policymaking at the state and local levels (given the current environment pushing more down to that level).
