Capital Cruises Established in 1991, Capital Cruises is the largest all-electric boat fleet on the Highland Lakes. The Anne W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge is the home of the largest urban bat colony in the world. Austin's bridge bats are Mexican free-tailed bats. They migrate each spring from central Mexico and return to Mexico in early fall.

Texas State Capitol Explore suggested itineraries and brochures to assist in planning a visit to the historic Texas Capitol, which is open weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Hours are subject to change.

2nd Street District "Where Texas Warmth Meets Austin Cool," the 2nd Street District is home to 50 specialty shops, services, and dining establishments. Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater and the Austin Children's Museum anchor this downtown district, which spans Second Street between Congress Avenue and San Antonio Street.
Barton Creek Square Barton Creek Square has more than 180 specialty shops, ranging from fashion to jewelry to sporting goods. The wonderfully climate controlled shopping mall includes Nordstrom, Apple Store, Forever 21, Sephora, and Michael Kors. ACL Live Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater is a state-of-the-art, 2,750-person capacity live music venue that hosts approximately 100 concerts a year. It serves as the permanent home for the taping of the acclaimed KLRU-TV produced PBS series, Austin City Limits, the longest running music series in American television history. ACL Live is nestled next to the W Austin Hotel & Residences, which are both located within Block 21, the first mixed-occupancy building of its type in the world to be LEED certified.
The Little Longhorn Saloon For more than two decades, The Little Longhorn Saloon has served as the center of Austin's honky-tonk country music scene. Have a cold, fresh draft beer for a dollar or two. The staff is happy to be there and happy to see you. Happy Hour six-days a week and then on Sunday it's the you-gotta-see-it-to-believe-it bingo.
Mohawk The Mohawk is a well traveled bar and music venue. Handmade in downtown Austin, its mission is to host friends, musicians, and staff that represent all music tastes and all walks of life.
