Sponsorship Opportunities

Opening Plenary Session - $7,500
One sponsorship is available. The Opening Plenary Session, Tuesday, October 2, features the keynote address and presidential address. This session, which kicks off the four-day technical program, traditionally attracts 85-90% of the meeting's attendees, by far the highest attendance at any event or session. The sponsor will be acknowledged from the podium, and signs bearing the sponsor's name and logo will be placed at the door.

Closing Plenary Session - $3,000
One sponsorship is available. HFES instituted the Closing Plenary Session on the final day of the Annual Meeting as a way to increase awareness of human factors/ergonomics in the area where the meeting takes place. A high-visibility speaker presents an address on a topic of interest to the HF/E community. Sponsorship includes signage and acknowledgment in all Annual Meeting materials. (Speaker to be announced in the summer.)

Student Reception - $15,000 single sponsor or $5,000 partial sponsorship
Up to three sponsorships are available. Each year, about 200 students gather on Tuesday evening (September 23) to enjoy refreshments and camaraderie. Awards are also presented at the Student Reception. Signs bearing the sponsor's name and logo will be placed at the door.

Message Center/E-Mail Stations - $5,000
One sponsorship is available. Simply provide a screensaver with your company logo for display on monitors at the free e-mail stations where attendees go to check their e-mail. This heavily utilized service is an excellent way to increase your visibility. Also includes signage; logo mousepads will be displayed if supplied by the sponsor (10 stations).

Student Career and Professional Development Day Afternoon Break - $1,500
One sponsorship is available. Student Career and Professional Development Day is a full-day program on Monday, September 22, and is geared toward helping students prepare for their careers. This sponsorship provides an opportunity to reach out to future human factors/ergonomics professionals and includes signage. Signs bearing the sponsor's name and logo will be placed at the door.

Student Lounge - $1,000/day or $5,000/week
Up to five sponsorships are available. This new feature of the annual meeting was launched in 2006 to great acclaim from students and professionals alike! The lounge provides a relaxing atmosphere for networking and mentoring. Sponsor(s) will be acknowledged in signage and may display information about the organization, as well as meet and greet students.

Coffee & Refreshment Breaks - $2,500
Up to seven sponsorships are available. Morning and afternoon coffee and beverage breaks are offered in the Exhibit Hall and other locations Tuesday through Thursday and in the morning on Friday. Attendees use these breaks to visit the exhibits and network with colleagues. Signs bearing the sponsor's name and logo will be placed in the area. The sponsor's representatives are encouraged to meet and greet attendees in the coffee break areas.

Student Chapter Presidents Luncheon/Business Meeting - $2,000
One sponsorship is available. Here is another opportunity to promote your company to future designers, researchers, and leaders in the human factors/ergonomics field. Student chapter presidents gather on Monday, September 22, and are provided with a complimentary lunch. Signs bearing the sponsor's name and logo will be placed at the door.

"Brown Bag" Mentoring Luncheons - $2,500
Up to three sponsorships are available. Three luncheons (12:00 noon-1:30 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday, September 23-25) will be held to provide students and early career professionals with information and opportunities to develop mentoring relationships with established professionals in the human factors/ergonomics field.

Portfolios - $5,000
One sponsorship is available. High-quality portfolios are given to every attendee at the registration desk. The portfolio has room for carrying laptops, books, programs, writing implements, and more. HFES imprints or embroiders the meeting logo and dates along with the sponsor's name and logo. Reservation Deadline: June 6, 2008

Luggage Tags - $2,000
One sponsorship is available. Accompanying the portfolio is a white plastic luggage tag so that attendees can insert their business cards to personalize and identify their portfolios. Includes one imprint color. Reservation Deadline: July 6, 2007
