Chapanis Best Student Paper Award Update
At its midyear meeting, the Executive Council approved a recommendation by the HFES Council of Technical Groups (COTG) to increase from $1,000 to $2,000 the cash prize for the Alphonse Chapanis Best Student Paper Award. The additional amount will be provided by the COTG.
Students whose work has been accepted for presentation at the Annual Meeting are eligible to apply for the award. Finalists are required to present their papers to the committee on Monday, October 27. The winner will be announced during the Opening Plenary Session.
