Member Milestones

     In June, Anita D'Amico testified before the U.S. House Subcommittee on Research and Science Education on cyber security research and development. D'Amico, a human factors psychologist and information security specialist, is director of the Secure Decisions division of Applied Visions, Inc. She may be reached at anitad@avi.com.

     In July, Richard Gutierrez celebrated 30 years of service with GE Energy in the analysis, design, implementation, and testing of human factors for the GE Advance Boiling Water Reactor. He may be reached at Richard1.Gutierrez@GE.com.

     HFES Fellow Joel S. Warm is this year's recipient of the Franklin V. Taylor Award from Division 21 on Applied Experimental and Engineering Psychology of the American Psychological Association. The prestigious Taylor Award is given for outstanding contributions to the field of applied experimental and engineering psychology. Warm may be reached at jswarm@fuse.net.
