Call for abstracts and proposals for the 17th Triennial Congress of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA) 2009 (http://www.iea2009.org).

Submitted abstracts are due November 15, 2008, and will be peer reviewed by at least two committee members. The review will support the selection process of those who will be accepted for their presentation at the conference, as well as those to be selected for publication in IEA-endorsed journals. Notice of acceptance will be sent January 1, 2009. Authors of accepted papers/abstracts who have registered for the conference have access to reviewer evaluations and feedback, giving them the opportunity to make improvements to their papers. Deadline for final paper submission is April 1, 2009. 

Authors of the best 10-20% of the papers presented at the conference will be invited to adapt their papers for publication in IEA-endorsed journals.

IEA technical committee sessions can have an electronic forum with the program cochairs using the IEA Web site, so they can prediscuss and prepare for their conference face-to-face session.
