The International Ergonomics Association is accepting entries for the 2009 IEA/Liberty Mutual Medal. The deadline for submissions is May 31, 2009.

The IEA/Liberty Mutual Award in Occupational Safety and Ergonomics was instituted in 1998. The award, along with a cash prize of $10,000, recognizes outstanding original research leading to the reduction or mitigation of work-related injuries and/or to the advancement of theory, understanding, and development of occupational safety research.

Persons wishing to be considered for the 2009 prize should submit an application to IEA Awards Committee Chair Pierre Falzon, Ergonomics Laboratory, CNAM, e-mail pierre.falzon@cnam.fr.
