INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR WORKSHOP
PROPOSALS
Please complete this section and submit it as your summary. Note that the usual 2000-word limit for the summary does not apply for workshop proposals; be sure to provide all details requested below.
1. Biography (3-4 paragraphs) for each presenter describing pertinent background and expertise in the area addressed in the workshop proposal.
2. 150-word abstract describing (a) the skills to be learned, (b) who would benefit by taking the workshop (i.e., audiences within or outside the field), (c) requisite knowledge of participants, and (d) materials or equipment (if any) participants must bring with them.
3. 2000-word summary describing (a) the need for the workshop; (b) knowledge, skills, and experience participants will gain; (c) methods used; and (d) requisite education/background participants must have.

(NOTE: Costs of audiovisual equipment are factored into the workshop fees.
Although we encourage presenters to request equipment adequate to their needs,
workshops with very high AV and computer requirements may be vulnerable to
