Syllabi
The goal of this syllabi page is to provide examples of syllabi people are using for introductory human factors/ergonomics (HF/E) courses. The HFES Education and Training Committee developed specific selection criteria when deciding what syllabi should appear. Below are the criteria.
- Is the syllabus current (e.g., texts in print, links functional)?
- Does the syllabus content cover general human factors/ergonomics content?
- Is the syllabus comprehensive?
- Does the syllabus have course objectives?
- Is the syllabus ethical (e.g., no inappropriate links, no inappropriate language)?
- Is the syllabus for a(n)
- undergraduate introduction to or overview of HF/E course?
- graduate introduction to or overview of HF/E course?
- Is the syllabus detailed enough to understand the articles used, activities performed, etc.?
