HFES Fellows
The Fellows Selection Committee invites applications for HFES Fellow and Honorary Fellow. Election to Fellow and Honorary Fellow status is an honor conferred by distinguished colleagues to recognize outstanding achievement, consistently superior professional performance, exceptional contributions, personal service to the Society, and other meritorious accomplishments by Society Members. For Honorary Fellows, there is no criterion of service to the Society.
Any voting Member of the Society in good standing (except members of the Fellows Selection Committee) may apply. Individuals may apply for Fellow or Honorary Fellow status on their own behalf, or they may submit an application on behalf of another.
The invitation to submit applications is published in the October issue of the HFES Bulletin; the submission deadline is generally four months later but varies each year (see the Bulletin announcement for the deadline and submission requirements). Download the Application Packet and follow the instructions carefully to ensure that all necessary information is submitted.
For the 2008 Fellow selection process, applications were due February 1, 2008.
The complete list of Fellows and Honorary Fellows appears in the HFES Directory and Yearbook.
