How to Join HFES

HFES has several membership classes. Your choice of membership class will be reviewed and you will be informed if the Membership Admissions Committee assigns you to a class that is other than the one you have chosen.

HFES membership applications can be completed and either submitted directly to the Society from this page, mailed, or faxed. There are three options:

1. Request an application package by E-mail from our Membership Services Office or call HFES at 310/394-1811.

2. Use the links below to download membership and change-of-status applications and to get information on Corporate Sustaining Membership. These applications are in "pdf" format and require Adobe Acrobat Reader.

3. Use the links below to select an on-line application form for your desired membership class. The electronic membership forms presented here are not intended to be printed for submission by postal mail. They are intended to be filled out and submitted on-line.

If you wish to apply for a new Full, Associate, or Affiliate membership, select the New Member Form

If you wish to apply for a new Student Affiliate membership, select the Student Member Form

If you are a current member and wish to apply for a change of status, select the Change of Membership Form
