At the 50th Annual Meeting on October 17, 2006, the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society announced the newly elected Fellows and Honorary Fellows. Election to Fellow status is an honor conferred by distinguished colleagues to recognize outstanding achievement, consistently superior professional performance, exceptional contributions, personal service to the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, and other meritorious accomplishments by Society Full Members.

	HFES Fellow Kathleen Mosier, psychology chair at San Francisco State University
	HFES Honorary Fellow Kathleen M. Robinette, principal research anthropologist at the Air Force Research Laboratory
	HFES Honorary Fellow David Shinar, human factors professor at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel
	HFES Honorary Fellow Mao-Jiun J. Wang, industrial engineering professor and chair at the National Tsing Hua University in China
